This acclaimed documentary focuses on Chicago Cubs legend Ron Santo, and his lifelong battle with diabetes. He played most of his all-star career without revealing his disease, in fear he would be forced to retire. This Old Cub captures the spirit of a man’s will. Narrated by Joe Mantegna.

George Washington heads the dollar bill — but another, more accurate face was recently created by forensic investigators. How much of what we “know” about Washington the man is accurate? Recent research fleshes out a more complex portrait of the first U.S. president.

Naval officers Jay and Meagan have dreamed of flying since childhood. Their two-and-a-half year trek to the cockpit took them to the biggest challenge young officers face: wartime deployments to Iraq.
Studs On Film
Saturday, June 2, 9:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
In recognition of the centennial of Studs Terkel’s birth, the Museum proudly partners with Media Burn to showcase episodes of Stud’s Place, Studs on a Soapbox, and other documentaries, as well as newly compiled footage of Studs at home, at WFMT, and in various Chicago locales. A discussion will follow each 90-minute screening.

Movies in the Park: Outdoor Film Series
Join us for another season of Movies in the Park! FREE movies begin at dusk on select days on our back plaza in Lincoln Park—we suggest you bring snacks and chairs or a blanket (no glass containers or alcoholic beverages, please).

Refunds for a tour will be given in the form of tour credit which can be applied to another tour. Credit will be given with a minimum of two weeks notice prior to the day of the tour. No exceptions.
